Wikka is organising... something. It looks like a scenario event to teach new players basic tactics and he needs some opposition.

There is some info here, I might sign up to help out, but will ask for more info first.

Cheers, Murkey.

Ehh.. i can't take this seriously, sorry. Anything involving Wicca and it'll just end up being some trolling around and laughing at dickbutt jokes in TS.

I was just about to say the same.

An admirable initiative, Murkey. But I have to add to the negativity here and say that I cannot trust Wicca to be diligent enough to ensure a successful event of any kind.

Case in point: his PRTA War of the Factions. He had some good (even fantastic ideas) for WoF, and he obviously invested a lot of time in the map itself. There was even some good collaboration with skilled and dedicated people, but in the end the event turned out really shoddy in terms of event organisation because he didn't pay attention to details, didn't enforce discipline, and didn't maintain a good communications structure with those to whom he delegated responsibility.

To summarise (and in a more detailed way than, say, "dickbutt jokes" :) ), the core problem is his childishness and lack of follow-through. Of course he won't change, and therefore I don't see why I should risk wasting my time again.

That said, I hope this event turns out well for him and PRTA, and that they attract and successfully school new PR players.

The training was pretty well organised. Some good hands on experience for about 12 or so new players. However the PRTA guys were the most childish, immature people I've ever shared a TS channel with. It was like herding retards :S

All in all I had fun. Knifed a squad tp death to teach them about covering angles :P

Cheers, Murkey.

Yeah Hulabi, you were spot on, I told Wikka it was well organised but his guys "Were like trying to herd cats in a thunderstorm" He laughed and agreed.

Overall I had fun, out numbered and putting the pressure on some new players was nice.

Cheers, Murkey.

I'm glad you got something out of the event, Murkey.

Wicca is The Joker. That is all.

bump - PRTA is organising another one. They need op-for people to suppress and kill inf on the bunker in Kashan and then shoot down vehicles and choppers at South village. 03/08/2014. - http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f376-pr ... ost2022585

I enjoyed the last one but it was frustrating dealing with the immaturity. I might attend this one, not sure yet.

Cheers, Murkey.
