Hello gentleman,

For the ones interested in helping with the testing of the new build, we need you to vote your preferences in terms of dates and times:

http://www.doodle.com/9tfx5qcd7xfexbwf#table

Players who help in the beta testing will get priority in the participation of the next event. Meaning that they can get reserve slots.

The new built is using a new random kit spawner system, a new round startup concept, some more pickup kit locations and a few bug fixes/tweaks. We need your help to fully test all of these before the next event.

Cheers,

Onil

PLEASE VOTE EVEN IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO EITHER DATE!

IF YOU DON'T VOTE, I WILL INTERPRET IT AS LACK OF INTEREST RATHER THEN LACK OF AVAILABILITY.

If you would pay attention to what I wrote, you would understand that the post is to make sure, that the players that are still interested in helping but aren't voting this time because they're not available for any of the options, to still vote on doodle.

I want to be sure that anyone that doesn't vote on doodle is doing so because they have no interest in helping. And if so, they will be removed from the survivors usergroup as to not receive further PM's about the minimod's development and will also loose the privileges that the beta testers get for helping out.

Take Nate as an example... he voted even though he will be AFK during the two weeks. He voted without me having to ask him to do so. While with other players I had to ask for them to vote even if they couldn't make it, because the point of the vote is not only to decide when we will do the beta testing but also to see who's still interested.

Thank for the ones who showed up.

I believe we had around 16 players total. I hope you guys had fun.

Unfortunately due to the lack of players we weren't able to test the 3 man squads but we did test the random player spawns and I think it works fine and adds some challenge. The main issue was that once again we had some delays which screwed with the testing of the kit random spawner timings and how it would change the gameplay.

I believe that we won't be able to test much on beta tests since people don't show up or don't play as in an actual event. So we will organize real events to test the gameplay for the events themselves and we will improve it for the next ones.

We also had some issues with players being disconnected from the server and from TS, it was very weird since the gaming server had no connection to the TS server.

Regards,

Onil

I've experienced connection problems and right after that was disconnected from TS, but wasn't disconnected from the game. Mumble worked fine. After few minutes I've managed to come back to TS. This is how it was for me.

Thanks for the event Onil, lots of High stakes fun! Sorry I couldn't stay longer.

The random spawn worked well and I actually got a weapon this time :D

Will put a video together and post it soon. No connection problems for me.

Cheers, Murkey.

No bugs to report, though I was frustrated by how long it took to find a damn rifle. And then I found 2 near some corpses.

Also, the activity seems to be a bit sporadic and sparse, but I expect it will be better with 64 players rather than 16. And we definitely need zombies.

Also, you may want to consider modding Fallujah or Iron Ridge since they have excellent ambience and terrain.
