What are your optimal pc builds for pr and which setting you play with?

I ma running i5-3570K @ 3.40GHz, some ASRock board, GTX 660 and 32GB of ram with dual FullHD monitor setup.

The problem is, it's running usually 24-48 fps with all low settings but texture and effects quality on high. Haven't played games in a while, but I think it'd carry most of them just fine. Is it possible to get stable 50+ fps with that rig? Is this possible that PC is using onboard graphics card for some reason?

I would set your page file at 0. With 32GB of RAM, you dont need any page file at all. Other than that, your 660 should be able to handle PR fine. I take it you play with only one monitor or do you use both? In the latter case, it is not suprising.

I'm using GT220, 2gb of RAM, 2,7GHz Dual Core Intel CPU and PR is running with stable, totally playable FPS, for some reason. The greatest mystery is those 2 gigs of RAM. I do have to start PR twice from time to time (freezes after map load), but other than that, nothing special.

How do i set page file? There's no way to play PR on dual monitor so far i know. I play on single display, 1920x1080. Second monitor is for editing. Ofc while playing PR i keep there my ts, browser and other fancy stuff.

Try playing without having any of the fancy stuff open, and only TS open. Performance of my PC also drops hard when I have youtube open on my second screen while gaming for example.

Edit: Regarding pagefile, type in pagefile when you press the Windows button ( Assuming you use Win7), and it will show you how to change it.

@boberczus what settings are you playing at? Is it just me, or having below 45 fps I can see strange artifacts on screen when quickly moving in game?

Medium - low, with high on effects. I always see these strange artifacts, most do if not everyone.

Understood. I might found optimal settings, also sorted out the pagefile. I think I am getting pretty good FPS at this moment. Haven't had enough time to test it properly, I think performance has increased. Thanks guys.

Currently running the follow:

CPU: i7 5820K 3.8GHz 6 Core
GPU: MSI GTX 980 4GB
RAM: 16GB DDR4 2400MHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte X99-UD4
SSD: Samsung Evo Pro SSD 250GB

PR settings are maxed with 8x AA and V-Sync @ 120FPS unless looking at multiple enemies, enemies have a secret attack which melts my PC.
