^After that an older guy in the group says something like this:

"All that hates gonna burn you up kid"

He smirks and replies:

"It keeps me warm"

<3 !

Here is my new, more realistic and ideal loadout:

Two weapons are sufficient... any more than that and you become a mule destined for going out in a blaze of glory. G3A3, because it takes 7.62x5.51 NATO. Glock 17 silenced for doing some close-up work. And of course the combat knife. Map, binocs, LOTS of ammo, medikit (which includes painkillers, bandages, etc). MREs, and VODKA (how did anyone here miss that?!) for, um, sterilising wounds and lighting fires. Flashlight and restrainers (I do want to be able to interrogate captives properly). Batteries for flashlight and night vision goggles. Sunglasses - actually an essential half the year here in the north.

Btw it's possible to stack small items in the inventory. Pretty cool. Try putting branches on your hat :P

Survival hmm, first food & water. Then some more food, oh and can't forget the food. Then Basic aid so I don't die to small or big wounds. Clothing to keep me warm and sleeping bag to sleep in during cold nights. Some tools to help me around and build simple structures for protecting myself from elements or simply repairing or helping me eat. Knife, light, map & change of clothes are the next step after the basic equipment.

To help me move around I have passport and walkie-talke, even at this moment some governmental organization can be alive and ability to ID myself is useful. Next, more medicine and food.

Next, as my weapon I choose compact AKs, as it won't help that much to have long barrel, would not help me against any other people in urban area and I would stay away from open. Long barrel would not help me much on hunting either, but I have SKS for that as backup. Good amount of ammo for that.

Lastly, I would pick flakarmor myself as anything else is heavy and useless, we start that our hostiles are more biting and hitting. Protection for eyes and helmet.

I would back lot of thinks on my vest as I wish to stay mobile as long as possible, there is no need for me to stop to eat/drink or to see my position.

Serious now then.

Clothes, mainly what looked pretty decent. Body armour because why not.
You don't need that many mags, just reload them.
Zippers because you might need to restrain someone. Watch because you can keep track of time and navigate with it as well.
Binocs so you can see stuff.

Radio to check stuff out. Ammo because survival.
Flint and steel. I see people picking matches and lighters, that is stupid. This will last longer.
Rope is always needed, and cleaning your gun is important. Maps is essential.
Shovel, food kit thingy, canteen, and wire-cutter are sort of explanatory.
Tent, gas-mask filter to survive that nuclear waste.

Compass and sleeping bag.
MREs and canteen. Explanatory.
Multi-tool to fix shit. Money if needed. Blanket to keep cold away.
Stove to cook on.
Face-paint to mask myself. Mirror to check things out and signal. Medical stuff and passport can come in handy.

Gas mask to counter nuclear shit. Needle and thread to fix stuff up.
JERKEY. MREs.
.22LR ammo for pistol. Fishing kit to survive.

FAL because RIGHT HAND OF THE FREE WORLD AND MUH FREEDOMS. Ammo is available locally and internationally.
Ruger 22lr because SILENCE. It is fairly silent.
Kukri because I AM GURKHA NOW.

I wanted tinted goggles. Didn't see any. They are supposed to be slightly tinted to counter snow.
