I'm fine with this. This can also be done via python, meaning server side changes needed only.
Though I would still add a no onmap mortar script.

Offmap mortars again are depended on the map files. On some maps like fallujah they are available.

could you decrease the penalty for jumping for specific factions aswell?

Pretty sure that "penalty" is set on the weapon and not the player.

Was starting to make a wall of text but I wont reply to that thread, I'll keep my discussion here and I'll keep trying to get those *.py files.

Once I made a working prototype of what I would like to see, Ill make a public thread.

K4on you being a dev, do you know if I need to send a PM to anyone or do I need to make a Thread asking for those files?

Easiest way: reverse engineer (decompile) the .pyc files. There are online services that do that for free ...

The python part has been take care of.

Now I just need to get familiar with the files and start making changes. Eventually after talking again to the Devs we might need to make events to test things out.

So yes now is the time to make suggestions, for now the plan is:

Attempt 1 
  • Reducing hideout build radius to 100m
  • Allowing rallies just like blufor
Attempt 2
  • Reducing hideouts build radius  to 100m
  • Only 1 Cache


Attempt 3
  • Reducing hideouts build radius  to 100m
  • Only 1 Cache
  • Only 1  Fob, Blufor bleeds without one.

Attempt 4
  • Reducing hideouts build radius  to 100m
  • Only 1 Cache
  • Only 1  Fob, Blufor bleeds without one.
  • Cache is reveled with fixed time
  • Intel points go towards the cache's marker precision, max-distance of marker is 1/2 of the map size
