yea since skob had to leave i took charge organized the squads and made a 30 second battleplan that worked pretty well
we had 3 x 4man squads going with the leaders being me, opan, and harold
We have some great defending through about 1/2 the match then harold made a great push with two of my guys to take the 2nd flag
Once we took it I had harold push to the next flag (bad idea on my part, we were getting too cocky) and after about 20 mins more or so we lost our 2nd flag and were back to where we were at the beginning but our infantry is improving
we had a higher kd ratio than them for most of the game until we started loosing that middle flag so it was definitely a tough and close match
We had a major problem since we had no admins but one of my guys was able to contact a PRTA admin to switch the map. When it came around to the 2nd match we couldn't play it because we couldnt find any more admins
I talked to wicca and he said that the site was down till tomorrow but he would give me the site to put our hashes in to give us admin

and sharpie thanks for posting that

Disorganization is largely blame on me. I was very much expecting to be here and suddenly I was without internet. Sorry about that :(

If it happens not the first, second or even 3rd time, why don't let every SL and NCO know what, where and why? Also set up some admin rights on our servers? Shame to see our opponents waiting for us at out server 30 minutes before the match and we only manage to organize our self -only- 40minutes after official start of the match.

To be honest there has been a thread in the Officers Forums since the last weekend. I even then asked if someone was willing to take lead of the Saturday scrim as I was supposed to be at a friends place. Since no-one wished to take charge I re-scheduled the meetup with my friends to be on the scrim. That my internet fucked out was unfortunate.

In regards of the server. Firstly I assumed that I would be there and I know I have admin rights on the PRTA servers. Secondly I assumed that we already had loads of people with PRTA admin rights. If you just sign up once on the forums you have them on all their servers, match and alike.

Sure enough I regarded this as a minor scrim and pretty much assumed that we would get 12 people regardless. Thus I did not take it as seriously as organizing any larger games. I figured we could pretty much gather people up, get on the server and have a good time. For larger battles I will not handle it that way, I can assure you.

In the future, can you put up the sign up table the moment you arrange scrim, instead of one day before the scrim?
