BTW Murkey when you say you don't look at the range finder of the SPG does that includes shoots over 500m?

I just don't use the range markings. If I had an accurate range report and a stationary target at 500m, I probably would. Especially if I was in a SPG emplacement. But I'd be more likely to avoid a target at that range and wait for an ambush or hit and run in the techie.
