Good evening everyone!

After discussing some with Jaeger I decided to make some forums for things. Basically people are playing games, but not necessarily together. How about some change in that? We have Skat, Kas, Stealth, and others playing together. But I bet there are more people that play the same games!

So therefore I made some new forums. Moved the Battle Department out of view, we are in community mode anyway and it can be moved back in two seconds. On behalf of Skatman I would like to point out that he had absolutely nothing to do with this. 

So, do enjoy! The forums now are on a trial basis. Forums not used/not enough players will be removed and replaced.

Haven't pirated a game since PlayStation 1 (had to put a chip on the back, run a CD first and then put in the game CD, oh old days). If a game doesn't make me want to buy it I simply don't play it. Plus, I don't steal. Support the good game developers you poor bastards.

Most of the time, the real developers don't get the money... the big companies who contract the developers get all the money.

Same applies for movies and tv-shows.

I have never bought a game for my PC, ever. Not even BF2. Only way that might change is if I have to pay for PR2, which I would probably be glad to do. I might also buy Day-Z standalone if I get impressed.

This is not true. Publishers get a percentage of it, retailers another and developers another. If developers got nothing there would be no developers left - it would be impossible to maintain a game studio without income, as with any business, obviously.

They get payed for the work they do but they do not get a big percentage of the profit.

The politics behind the gaming industry are not the (only) reason I pirate games...

There are some games I gladly bought but most of them don't hold up to any expectation and I don't consider them worth 60 Euro!

While I wish I'd have more money left to spend on the ones where they deserve it, I played about 150+ games in the last couple of years. Many of them just for some testing and/or a few minutes/hours.

That is one of the reasons I am not really up to date with the MP part of most games. If I play a game for a while and consider it giving me fun in MP I'll buy it (or already did)!
